NEB Information Paper on Damage Prevention Regulatory Framework

The National Energy Board (Board or NEB) has released an information paper for public comment during the period of 20 October to 13 November 2015. The purpose of the information paper is to communicate the impacts of the Pipeline Safety Act on the NEB’s Damage Prevention Regulatory Framework, and the approach for updating the damage prevention regulations, including: 1) National Energy Board Pipeline Crossing Regulations, Part I (PCR Part I); 2) National Energy Board Pipeline Crossing Regulations, Part II (PCR Part II); 3) National Energy Board Onshore Pipeline Regulations (OPR); and 4) Administrative Monetary Penalties Regulations (National Energy Board) (AMPs).
