2015 CCGA Damage Prevention Symposium – Early Registration Deadline

We are quickly approaching the early registration deadline (July 31) for this year’s event.

The 2015 CCGA Damage Prevention Symposium is being held on October 6-8, 2015 at the beautiful LeCentre Sheraton in Montreal, Quebec.

There is an excellent program planned this year.  Along with over twenty educational sessions with topics ranging from federal damage prevention legislation to new technologies to public awareness and outreach efforts, the Symposium is also featuring some amazing keynote addresses. Jean Savard, Emergency Operational Director, Public Safety Government of Quebec, will be speaking Wednesday afternoon about the Lac-Megantic tragedy and the lessons learned while the one and only Rex Murphy, noted Canadian commentator and author, will be speaking Wednesday night.

Some of the sessions offered this year include:

  • New Technologies and Adoption of Future Legislation
  • Evaluation of Societal Costs of Damage to Buried Utilities
  • Mobile and Cloud Technology for Enhanced Damage Prevention
  • An Excavator’s View of Locate Acquisition

This is definitely a “can’t miss” event.  Registration is easy and we suggest you take advantage of the early bird discount and special room block pricing by registering soon. If you are planning on attending, but don’t intend to register until closer to the event, It would be a great help if you let us know your plan is to register closer to the event. A quick reply to lizm@infrastructureresources.net will help us plan appropriately to offer you the best opportunities for networking with your peers and sharing knowledge and ideas.

I look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you in Montreal in October.
