BC Common Ground Alliance invites you to the April is Safe Digging Month contractor breakfast to listen to the story of Steve Howe.

Join us for breakfast in Burnaby on March 31st —  Register online here!  Deadline is March 27th.

Details:   Tuesday, March 31, 2015. 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. IUOE Building, 4333 Ledger Ave, Burnaby

In 2006, while working as a Senior Operator Faller, Steve suffered a devastating, near-fatal work place injury. Steve understands how he had become complacent.   As part of the Kiewit Corporate Safety team, Steve spreads his message of survival, emphasizing the importance of working safely. Hear his story about:

  • Identifying your “comfortable moments”
  • Staying in the moment
  • Refusing to do unsafe work
  • Never taking shortcuts
  • Never deviating from the plan
