The National Utility Locating Contractors Association Locator Training Standards
and Practices represent an accepted model within the locate industry. In
addition, documentation of training is maintained to ensure facility locators
have been properly trained. BCCGA and WorkSafeBC, in collaboration with
other safety associations, have developed a BC-based introductory locating
certification program.
